Beneath the Voices.

Written during a stay in Montreal, “Beneath the Voices.” is about the quiet anonymity of a city — walking through October light, surrounded by voices in English and French, half-understood. The lead vocal slowly sinks beneath guitars, organ and ghostly layered choruses, the way a visitor’s own voice disappears into a street.

モントリオール滞在中に感じた「都市の中の匿名性」と「さまざまな声に埋もれていく自分」をテーマにした曲。英語とフランス語が行き交う10月の歩道で、ボーカルは楽器と多重コーラスの中に少しずつ溶けていく。
